- We are part of the Southern Synod of the United Reformed Church in England
- We are part of the Hove and Portslade Pastorate, which includes 2 other United Reformed Churches: Hounsom Memorial URC (in Hangleton) and Portslade URC (in Portslade)
- Members and regular worshippers at Central URC continue to be at the centre of many community activities in the Central Hove
As part of the United Reformed Church. we
- welcome those who come from any church background or none;
- arrange our worship, witness and service;
- celebrate the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord's Supper;
- have regular church meetings of members and an elected body of ordained elders who, with the minister, share pastoral and leadership responsibilities;
- seek to develop ecumenical relationships.
